Wow, tonight's concert was an absolute blast. The Aaron Hedenstrom Orchestra got together and played without rehearsing once and it was just a great time. I want to thank the people that were part of making it happen on all fronts, and also those who came to enjoy the music.
It was epic. I just gotta say, I'm thankful for ALL of my family, friends, and everyone who took a chance on the concert and checked out the show. And most of all, I'm thankful for Invisible Children's presence there, because there's just so much pain in the world and we gotta learn about it and do our part to help make it stop!
You know, all of the players tonight were able to come together and use their talents to just kick some butt and make some magic happen and I hope that those moments can change peoples' lives. It was really cool to see Agape be so upfront about his desires to change the world!
I'm just encouraged by all of the love I saw tonight. I want everyone to take a piece of that love and use their gifts to share it with someone, and for everyone that will be in a different way. For me, writing and performing music is it. And I thank Jesus Christ for His love that allows us to share these gifts.
